I think 2013 was a pretty good year for HSBC Golf. HSBC marked 10th anniversary as a major international sponsor of golf. I have just received from them a mail where they announced their sponsorship of Golf Business Community (web portal previously owned by KPMG, now by IMG). They upgraded their status for WGC-HSBC Championship and extended their sponsorship of the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore.
HSBC Golf sponsorship from grew US$7 million to US$8.5 million.
On this Thursday will be the opening of Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. Just to make the event even more interesting the organizers added the traditional Emirati Al Razfa dancing as a prelude.
Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson were not lazy to try to dance this traditional dance.
