How can help the Berenberg Gary Player Invitational?

Similar to 2015, the Berenberg Gary Player Invitational will be held at Wentworth Club. This year it will be held between July 17-18. Berenberg and The Player Foundation are continuing to support Depaul (helps who are homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged) who helps homeless and vulnerable young people. In 2015, The Player Foundation and Berenberg (a privately owned bank with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany) raised more than $225,000 for Depaul UK.

The Berenberg Gary Player Invitational is part of the world-leading Gary Player Invitational series, which has raised more than $62 million for charitable causes, the annual ‘Union of Golf and Giving’ takes place on the Monday after The Open at Royal Troon, and will welcome global stars and legends of the game, including 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett, Tom Watson and Fred Couples. 

The professional competitor list, from the men’s game is: Gary Player, Tom Watson, Danny Willett, Branden Grace, Martin Kaymer, Colin Montgomerie, Jason Dufner, Tom Lehman, Fred Couples, Padraig Harrington, Charl Schwartzel, Marc Leishman, Paul McGinley, Sandy Lyle, Ian Woosnam, Rich Beem, David Howell and Sam Torrance.

From the women’s game, Carly Booth, Suzann Pettersen, Georgia Hall, Joanna Klatten, Emma Cabrera-Bello, Victoria Lovelady, Danielle Montgomery, Caroline Martens, Anna Rawson, Courtney Harter, Alex Peters, Lauren Taylor and Sarah Jane Boyd.

In addition to the United Kingdom, annual events are staged by Black Knight International in Abu Dhabi, Japan, USA, China and South Africa.
