How to save money on golf equipment buying?

By: December 31, 2009

In one of my previous post I wrote about how much worth to pay for a golf club and other golf equipments, like golf balls, putters, wedges, golf clothing, pull carts, golf bags etc.  I cannot stress enough that one of the obstacles to turn golf into a mass sport like football golf equipments' prices must be reduced significantly. Especially true for emerging golf markets like Russia, India, Hungary etc. At the very same time I do not see any reason why to spend unjustified amount of money on golf equipments when we can find also on reasonable prices. One of the lessons of the current economic situation is that we are wasting and spending too much!!

For this reason I was happy to find Golfbidder that offers good quality second hand golf equipments (leading golf brands are available: Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Cobra, Nike Golf, Cleveland, Titleist, Wilson Staff etc.). This is a good place for those who want to get rid of their old golf clubs. Since 1997 they expanded to Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, Spain, France, Denmark.

The usability of the site is OK, but still needs some amendments. It is confusing for me these two menus "Selling your clubs" and "Auctions". What I also missed on the site is SEO (search engine optimization) and social media features (namely Facebook, Twitter profile links and social bookmarking solutions). It is not clear to me how they want to spread their content to attract more visitors and buyers. And last but not least how they want to gain trust and good reputation??? Hmm? These are very basic steps….
