Will 2016 be the revival year of Schwartzel?

By: March 14, 2016

Charl Schwartzel’s game at the Valspar Championship didn’t start well. He had to overcome a five-stroke deficit.

I found 2 really exciting moments during the game. Schwartzel shot a four-under 67, including a putt from 64 feet for birdie on the 13th hole. On the 17th, he made another birdie from 25 feet, to finish with the day’s lowest score. The victory did not come easily, he had to beat Bill Haas in a playoff.  This was Schwartzel’s first PGA Tour victory since 2011.

This was his second victory this year after winning the Tshwane Open on the European Tour.
