Who will be the 1st guest of the reopened Lumine Beach Club?

By: July 17, 2017

The Lumine Mediterránea Beach & Golf Club has just reopened its Beach Club for 2017. The Beach Club, which features a unique series of tiered pools that overlook the Mediterranean Sea, offers visitors the perfect place to relax and unwind after a round. The Lumine Mediterránea Beach & Golf Club is already offering 3 golf courses: The Lakes (designed by Greg Norman), The Hills, and The Ruins (designed by Greg Norman).

The Beach Club gives you the feeling of swimming in the sea while you are in a swimming pool. Needless, to say that you can enjoy a top-class restaurant next to the swimming pool.

Do you welcome kids as well???

In recent years, multigenerational travel has been the biggest trend in tourism. This is a new evidence that golf resorts start to understand that they need to offer services and programs for the whole family. Therefore, it would be great to see a kids’ club at the Lumine Mediterránea Beach & Golf Club to give the parents a chance to switch off. Pine Cliffs Resort in Algarve, Portugal and Terre Blanche‘s Kids Club are great examples of family oriented golf resorts.

Nevertheless, this case shows us that once golf resort developers focused solely on the needs of the golfers and today it is not enough to succeed and stay alive.

Golf Resorts should also think about what can they offer to their guests’ friends who might want to visit their friends in the golf resort.  Sharing experiences and making memories together are gaining momentum.

It would be interesting to see, how golf resorts will rethink their residences to meet the expectations of multigenerational holiday and second home seekers.

How will golf resorts like the Lumine Mediterránea Beach & Golf Club change or transform in the coming years to meet the new expectations and needs of golf tourists?
