How will Matt Hurley elevate Honours Golf to a higher level?

Probably you remember that Troon acquired Honours Golf in 2014. The founder & current CEO of Honours Golf, Bob Barrett remained in his position after the acquisition until now.

Troon has named Matt Hurley as the new president of Honours Golf.

Before Matt Hurley became the new president of Honours Golf he had a very impressive 22 years career:

  • He has served as a general manager for various clubs, earning the company’s “General Manager of the Year” award in 2005. Also in 2005, Hurley was promoted to area managing director, and in 2010 to vice president, operations.
  • Hurley joined Troon in 1997 from Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla., where he held the position of facility director, overseeing the operations of 72 holes of golf, three clubhouses, and 100-plus employees.
  • VP of Operations at Honours Golf.
  • Award of Excellence” title (in 2009) – as the GM and area manager, Legacy Golf Club, Florida, USA.
