What would you do on the first day of Al Zorah Golf Club?

By: September 23, 2015

Do you remember when I wrote in July about Al Zorah Golf Club? If not, then just a brief reminder. It will be a par-72, 18-hole golf course (designed by Nicklaus Design) in Ajman (I would say in the outskirts of Dubai). This will be the first solo project of Nicklaus Design in the Middle East. Troon was selected in 2014 to manage the development.

Beside the golf course the developers plan to offer more off-golf course attraction. The first ones will be the Pavillion clubhouse, as well as a Shakespeare and Co. restaurant.

Other interesting fact is that Al Zorah Golf Club will be the first new championship venue in the UAE for nearly 6 years and will initially be opening its membership to a limited number of golfers. As the golf course’s scheduled official opening date (December 2015) is approaching, they have opened their doors to membership inquiries.

In this post I have not mentioned yet that there will be 42 villas in the Al Zorah Golf Complex. I think luxury golf real estate values are more likely to retain their values. These villas are less likely to depreciate in value in the event the real estate market in general softens.
