Do you remember when I wrote about the launch of the Odyssey Works putter line in January 2015? It seems like Odyssey Golf reconsidered the usage of Fusion RX Insert & Metal-X roll pattern. This is how the new Odyssey White Hot RX putter was developed.
They combined the White Hot insert (that we already know from previous Odyssey Works Tank Cruiser and Odyssey Works putters) with a dual layer injected molded insert that has a softer core. The oval pattern design that created quicker, better roll in Metal-X and Odyssey Works models is in White Hot RX.
Odyssey Golf added a textured clear coat to the striking surface that works with oval roll technology to increase friction and help get the ball rolling faster. They took head shapes that have proven themselves around the world such as the #1, #7 and 2-Ball and added in the new V-Line Fang.
The V-Line Fang combines technologies and shaping of Odyssey Golf’s #7 model with the popular V-Line mallet for improved alignment and accuracy.
